All I Want For Christmas ... Pass It On Yes, this will be a unique Christmas for at least a couple of people in Santa Rosa. Perhaps, as a result of their efforts and the efforts of their 'helpers,' Christmas will be just a little bit brighter for you. Bob Kennedy and Sean Bressie are two local 'amateur' television broadcasters. IF you take a look at their 'work' over the last several months you might conclude they are anything but 'amateur.' The two of them, with the aid of the equipment and facilities of the Community Media Center of Santa Rosa, produce a regularly scheduled television program called 'Santa Rosa LiVE !!!' They broadcast the results of their 'part time' broadcasting endeavors on Channel 72 in Santa Rosa, Channels 26 and 27 in Petaluma and on the internet.
The large website they are connected to is also a product of their combined efforts [and helpers] and includes a memorable pictorial essay of Christmas in Sonoma County. http://www.socool.com/archives/scxmas.html That year, 1997, it was digital cameras taking pictures and 'broadcasting' them worldwide. This year, their plan is to duplicate their efforts with two 3 chip, high-tech, digital video cameras and yes, broadcast and edit them locally and worldwide. So what will they be taking pictures of ??? They'll be taking pictures of everybody. Sonoma County residents, visitors, entertainers, Sonoma County people, sites and sounds as they participate in the arrival of Santa Claus in their city. Indeed, Santa Claus [or at least one of him] will be assisting along every step of the way. You see, SoCô¿ôL Bob, Bob Kennedy, knows Santa Claus, really, really well [more than a couple of him.] And Sean Bressie [SoCô¿ôL Santa] knows him really well, as well. This year, they've convinced Santa to help them achieve their goal. 'SoCô¿ôL' Santa's going to do a special interview with Santa Rosa LiVE ... and then he's going to 'train' on the equipment just like any of his Santa Rosa helpers can do. He's going to make a 'training' tape, become 'certified,' and then participate in the capture and editing of some really Special Sonoma County Christmas events. These events will be the featured events in upcoming broadcasts of Santa Rosa LiVE !!! Santa's going to broadcast his arrival in our town. Watch for updates. SoCô¿ôL Santa, Bob and Sean have lots of other duties ... BUT ... they really want to be a 'part' of another really Special Christmas for everyone !!!

Santa Claus Is Coming To Town 2001 Real Video
This is Bob Kennedy ... publisher and Webmaster for SoCô¿ôL ... ONLINE. In association with the Sterba Directory and the Sonoma County Events Calendar, and the many Christmas Event creators in Sonoma County, we are busy creating a Special Presentation on Christmas in Sonoma County.
